TRiO Talent Search

TRiO Talent Search is a  federal grant program funded through the U.S. Department of Education.

TRiO Talent Search programs at Alpena Community College are college access programs funded by the US Department of Education designed to help 6th -12th grader in successfully completing high school, secure financial aid and enroll and complete a post-secondary educational program. Services are provided in the following targeted school districts (South Grant) Au-Gres, Alcona, Tawas, Whittemore, Hale, Oscoda, Fairview, and Mio.( North Grant) Alpena, Hillman, Atlanta, Jo-berg, Posen, Onaway, Rogers City, and Cheboygan. 1200 plus students from these schools participate each year.
